technique.

Research becomes skill. This is where the fish stops being an idea and starts being something you know how to actually catch.

Short, violent retrieves. Work large cup-face poppers hard and fast over the reef edge — GT respond to aggression, not finesse.

Strike on the first explosion. Don't work the lure back to the boat waiting for a second hit. Set hard the moment it blows up.

Maximum drag, immediately. A GT will run straight for the reef and cut you off in seconds. Pressure starts on the strike, not after.
